IELTS New Update: Beginning in November 2022, IDP test centers in significant Australian cities will offer IELTS One Skill Retakes.
The IELTS one skill retake function was implemented, according to Warwick Freeland, MD of IELTS IDP Education, in response to test-takers’ feedback.
Many students don’t complete their prerequisites on time. This occurs as a result of them not receiving the desired band score on one exam module.
In that instance, they had to retake the entire exam. However, the IDP has since included a function that enables you to retake just the one exam module where you want to raise your band score.
The IELTS One Skill Retake function is currently only accessible in a few major Australian locations, but IDP plans to roll it out to India in March 2023 as well.
Students in India will only be permitted to retake one IELTS test module starting in March 2023.
The test-takers will be able to achieve the desired band score on their first attempt, according to Warwick Freeland.
Retaking the IELTS one-skill exam is an option for those who do not receive the desired score in all modules or do not score in one module.
In the launch phase, students who choose IELTS One Skill Retake will receive a new TRF that they can use for both study and migration.
